Inform Yourself – and Vote!
With 14 state ballot measures, several local tax proposals, and dozens of federal, state and local candidates on each ballot, it’s easy to be overwhelmed. Not everyone has the time, or the patience, to read about the candidates and issues in advance of voting…but there are some resources that can make that process easier.
Does your vote really matter?
I truly believe our state and country are at a turning point. We have extreme activists making their move to bring our country into a socialist, Islam-compliant, dumbed down society that lets educators manage our children’s health and academic future, where business owners and parents are the enemy, protesters create chaos in our universities and cities, China battles to take our place as a world leader, and the Democrat-controlled California government fails to recognize we don’t have a revenue problem – we have a spending problem!
The left keeps saying they will take back Congress, and eventually the White House. That only happens if commonsense people feel their vote doesn’t matter.
When Prop 50 (mid-term redistricting) was on the special election ballot, only 50% of voters showed up… Now we see that representation may have been taken away from rural and Central Valley voters in favor of Newsom’s favorite Democrats. There are consequences to leaving that pink envelope on the kitchen table.
Meanwhile, President Trump is making great strides in bringing together Arab countries who can work with Israel. Do you really think the recent hijacked jet would have been able to land in Saudi Arabia if it weren’t for the Trump Administration’s diplomatic accomplishments in the region? Trump is reducing the cost of healthcare and prescriptions, he’s building back our military at a crucial time when Iran wants to nuke the US (including LA and San Diego..) China has a fleet of AI-driven robots (really scary), and Russia’s thirst for Ukraine is sending hundreds of thousands of people from both countries to their graves.
We see in the UK and the streets of Europe that their open immigration policies are resulting in disgruntled citizens who must endure violence and the sucking up of welfare resources – not unlike in the USA. Trump is facilitating investment in manufacturing, which means good paying jobs with benefits. But that doesn’t happen overnight. His Department of Homeland Security is deporting criminal illegal aliens, and visas are being revoked for foreign nationals who have overstayed, or pose a threat to our country. Fraud and waste in government programs are being stopped, and migrant children who were placed in the hands of unvetted traffickers are being returned to their families with horror stories that will impact them the rest of their lives.
It’s all progress, and it must be allowed to continue.
There is so much at stake, and the priority must be to maintain control of Congress so the President can keep focusing on our jobs, security, health, and freedom.
After a great deal of research, I have created a Voter Guide to help Sacramento Region voters when they receive their ballot. I am also including links to Voter Guides from other groups who protect taxpayers and stand for a safe and secure America. Please feel free to ask questions. And VOTE!
